Orange County Fall Events Guide 2026:

Things to Do This September, October & November

Fall in Orange County may look a little different than it does in other parts of the country. The beach days don't disappear, but the calendar starts filling with fall festivals, outdoor concerts, food and wine events, Halloween celebrations, art festivals, community gatherings, and plenty of reasons to get outside.

From Newport Beach and Corona del Mar to Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, and communities throughout Orange County, here are some of the events we're looking forward to this fall.

At Times Real Estate CA, we love sharing not only what's happening in the local real estate market, but also the places, neighborhoods, and events that make Orange County such a great place to call home.

Thanksgiving & Holiday Season Begins

By mid-November, Orange County begins transitioning from fall into the holiday season.

Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, and surrounding communities typically begin rolling out holiday markets, tree-lighting celebrations, seasonal performances, and other events leading into Thanksgiving and December.

We'll be sharing our separate Orange County Holiday Events Guide as those dates are confirmed.

Fall in Newport Beach

For us, some of the best fall activities happen close to home.

September and October are particularly enjoyable months in Newport Beach. The weather remains warm, summer crowds begin to ease, and residents can enjoy the beaches, harbor, restaurants, parks, and community events at a slightly slower pace.

Neighborhoods including Newport Heights, Cliff Haven, Dover Shores, Balboa Island, Lido Isle, Corona del Mar, Newport Shores, and the Newport Peninsula each offer their own way to experience the season.

If you're exploring the area because you're considering making Newport Beach home, take some time to experience these neighborhoods beyond the properties themselves. Walk the streets, visit the local restaurants, spend an afternoon around the harbor, and attend a community event.

Understanding the lifestyle is just as important as understanding the real estate.

Experience Orange County This Fall

One of our favorite things about living and working in Orange County is that there is always something happening.

Fall brings together many of the things that make this area special: beautiful weather, coastal communities, art, food, outdoor recreation, and local traditions.

We hope this guide gives you a few ideas for enjoying Orange County this September, October, and November.
